Under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in cooperation with Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) in Finland, the opening ceremony of the third pedagogical course was held on September 21, 2023, in the presence of Dr. Amanj A. Saeed, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Zhala S. Khatat, Director General of Research and Development, directors of pedagogical centers from seventeen public and private universities in Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), pedagogical instructors, and candidates for the third pedagogical training course.

The ceremony included a variety of insightful talks and warm welcomes, presented by the Director of the Pedagogical Training and Academic Development Center, Dr. Sattar J. Haji, emphasizing the issues and challenges the participants should take into consideration.

At the ceremony, Dr. Amanj A. Saeed, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research stated that “the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is currently preparing to start the third course of pedagogical training”.

In conclusion, the pedagogical course mission is to train teachers to become certified professionals according to the Professional Standards developed by the University, and to provide continuing development training for administrative staff to perform more efficiently and better manage their daily tasks.
